Notebooks are due on Thursday. Please have appropriate sections neat and organized.
You will be taking out your "Table on Contents" section for a grade. Please make sure that this section is:
- Each note dated/title on table on contents
- Each note is numbered and in order beginning with #1.
- Notes are completed.
- Entire section is held together with a binder clip, string, whatever. No loose papers.
- Name and section is clearly labeled on the Table of Contents section.
Please follow these directions because you WILL NOT have class time to organize.

overall, i thought that today the discussion that we had was important. i say this because i look at race and racism in different ways. i think that my opinion about the actual color of your skin, difines race in society. people in society will judge you quicker by the color of your skin. and i think thats a problem because im both cape verdean (in africa) and french (in europe). so would i be classified as white or black? it really doesnt make any sense why people would be classified as colors because no one is "black like the desk or white like tissue". this topic is interesting to me because there is more depth than jus being black or white or hated or loved. im going to let you read the willy linch speech tomorrow ill print out a copy. =)
